I have my scuba diving license and I know first hand what a pain it is to carry your diving gear down to a beach or to a unique hidden spot and I am not a fan of it. I have had my eyes on the Nemo for a while after seeing Michael Oliver on youtube, it seemed like a very practical machine because of its size and weight. And backpack fit loosely in the airplane overhead compartment. I went through one of my three batteries a day just in the pool with them using it.īackpack had a little extra room to carry small weights and belt and was comfortable transporting through the airport on my back. I also supervised my older kids using it in the shallow pool after warning them about the dangers of compressed air and never to hold their breath. Only timed my dive one time and battery lasted an hour or so. Battery time seemed as advertised or slightly longer. Either way after I started breathing at the same speed as Nemo it felt very natural and more than enough air. Or maybe it was pumping the same amount of air at the surface but after being compressed under water the lower volume made it feel like less air. After being used to breathing in the pool and towards the surface it took a little getting used to breathing in deeper water as it seemed I trying to breath faster than pump was providing air. Just got back from Mexico where I used Nemo many times and really enjoyed it. Pre-Order Nomad here and dive to 30 feet. You can even fly with it!
